CAO Announces Organizational Restructure


The District of Mission's Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) announced this morning that an organizational restructuring will be implemented over the next few weeks. The CAO said that this restructuring builds on the Core Services Review and is aimed at achieving:

  • The creation of more capacity within departments by shifting and combining resources. This includes the consolidation of complementary departmental functions;
  • A more flexible or adaptable organization with departmental and positional overlaps;
  • A structure that promotes cross training and sharing of work load; and
  • The creation of a leaner organization that focuses resources and achieves overall cost savings.
